Blood test locations
NOTE: Please complete the initial phone screening; receive your donor ID#; and collect your initial 150 ounces of milk before taking a blood test.

Your milk will be prescribed to premature and critically ill babies. To provide the safest milk possible, we require all donor moms to complete a blood test to screen for harmful viruses. The Milk Bank covers the cost of the tests.

The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin has a contract with Clinical Pathology Labs and Quest Diagnostics. Please find the location that is most convenient for you. We also contract with local blood and tissue centers. The locations listed below are specific to the depot cities listed.

If you live outside of the areas listed and cannot find a lab we contract with, please call us to discuss additional options for completing your blood work.

Please bring the required requisition form we provide when you go to get your blood drawn!
